Sharing my life through stories
I first started writing social stories at age nineteen and have been writing them ever since. Sometimes I write two to three stories a day depending on what new things I need to learn. My goal has always been to appear less autistic and this is my way of identifying, understanding, and remembering what new thing I picked up on or learned that day. It might surprise you how many things don’t come naturally for me and how heavily I rely on fellow friends and family members to specifically pinpoint particular issues. By sharing these stories, I hope to educate not only the autistic world but the greater world around me.
