These days I can do many things on my own. I have a car and commute daily to the local newspaper where I work as an editorial cartoonist and illustrator. My outside responsibilities have also grown to include grocery shopping, cooking, paying bills on time, and household chores, all skills I will need to someday live completely on my own. There are many challenges, but I hope to buy my own house and be entirely self-sufficient. I discuss the day-to-day challenges and how I’m meeting them during this talk. Questions are encouraged.
