The encouragement and support of understanding teachers has been a real gift in my life. They have helped me learn to interact in day-to-day settings and among my peers. When educators are aware of various traits and behaviors an autistic student might exhibit, they can play a crucial role in that student’s growth. During my talk I share specific examples from my life and offer suggestions on how best to inspire the learning and awareness of all students. Questions are encouraged.
